Abstract:
Philosophical practice has developed during the forty years of its contemporary renewal. One of the developments, which I encourage, is to bring philosophy not only from the Academe to the community – an important move in itself – but also from the community back to the Academe. The lecture will explain the desirability and viability of this move: why it is important for the survival of philosophy as an academic discipline; and how philosophy can be practiced even in the very act of teaching and learning it.
