New Asia Lectures on Confucianism 2019

The Sixth New Asia Lectures on Confucianism will be held in October 2019, Professor Yang Rur-Bin is invited as the speaker. Professor Yang is the Chair Professor of the Graduate Institute of Philosophy, National Tsing Hua University. Details of the lectures are as follows:
 

1st Lecture
Topic: “The First Type of May-Fourth Movement: The Role of Confucianism in the New Culture Movement of Modern China”
Moderator: Prof. Cheng Chung-Yi, Department of Philosophy, CUHK

2nd Lecture
Topic: “How did the May-Fourth Movement Lead to the Revolution of 1949: The Dynamics of Mythology”
Moderator: Prof. Lau Kwok-Ying, Department of Philosophy, CUHK

3rd Lecture
Topic: “Conflict and Development of Confucian Dao-orthodoxy in Ming Dynasty”
